The general consensus about 2008 in cinema was The Dark Knight was one of (if not) the best films of the year. Sure there were capes and cowls and lavishly dressed antagonists but at its core it was a crime story. A classic detective film with the classic formula, although instead of a down on his luck private eye or a no nonsense police officer, we got Batman.
500 Million Dollars, that’s the budget rumor spreading around the internet about James Cameron’s new movie Avatar. Is it really that high? We’ll never know since the studio hasn’t and will probably never release an official tally. But to be fair, he has been working on this film for around 12-14
With nothing much to write over the past two weeks, i’ve decided to run down my favorite movie related items of 2009, today we will begin with the top five posters of the year, Cheers everyone.
